It was a reasonable program but there were a few things I wasn’t happy with. I’ll begin with what I liked about the program. 1. It was really easy to enroll. There is just a basic form to complete and then you make your payment and you begin the course. Let’s TEFL doesn’t require you to complete a long application form or anything like that and I really appreciated this quick and simple sign-up process. 2. The course isn’t complicated to follow and doesn’t feel cluttered. All the modules are easy to follow but at the same time, they are not too easy that you feel like you are just clicking boxes for the sake of it. I read warnings online about taking a TEFL mill course where you complete everything in a very short period of time. It took me a month to get everything completed on my 120-hour course with Let’s TEFL and I left with the feeling that I had earned my TEFL certificate. What I didn’t like about the Let’s TEFL program is how they promise a lot of support for when you complete the course, like help with writing a resume and help finding a job, but none of these things materialized. They also promise that they will deliver a hardcopy version of the certificate to you. While this is true, they don’t mention on their website that they charge quite a hefty fee for this. So in the end I just stuck with the electronic copy. The Let’s TEFL course was great but they should honor their after-course customer service promises. Because of this, I’m giving the program 2.5 stars.
