The program started for me in the Fall of 2009. I completed the program and I recommend it to anyone who wants to pursue ESL teaching abroad. The instructors and course curriculum were great. Some of the other reviews on here have spoken about not experiencing that great two-way communication with the school’s admin staff, but this definitely didn’t apply to my experience when I took the program. I did have questions. Some were about the course and some were about the logistics of teaching in another country. All of my emails were responded to with helpful, encouraging responses. Since the start of 2020, I’ve been teaching on and off in Vietnam (pandemic timetable) and now that almost everything has opened back up over here my hours have returned to full-time. Without the TEFL certification, Vietnam would still be a pipe dream.
