My TEFL Masters certificate wasn’t accepted for any of the jobs I applied to. Should have been smarter as the course price was way too cheap. Spent a few days down the rabbit hole and what I found out was shocking. TEFL Masters proudly displays TCAC accreditation, UKRLP registration, and CPD-verified accreditation on its website.
TCAC isn’t legitimate. Come on, they accredit “Tiger TEFL” for God’s sake.
UKRLP is just a database that any company or website gets automatically listed on upon request if it offers something education related.
CPD is an unknown website, offering their “stamp of approval” to anyone willing to pay them.
The real kicker though is the quality of the course. I hardly learned anything. It’s just so light on information. Lots of AI images that obviously look AI generated. The entire course text is clearly AI generated. The “120 hours” is really one afternoon/evening’s worth of study time. Certificate is a Canva template (I checked). No two-way communication, zero support, and zero chances of finding work with the certificate.
I optimistically gave 2 stars because I at least was given access to a course.
Yes, if something seems too good to be true it is. TEFL Masters is not legit. This is not a company I would recommend studying online TEFL through.
