Maximo Nivel TEFL review, submitted by Tessa.
I’m a 2020 graduate of the Maximo Nivel self-guided 150-hour TEFL course, and I just wanted to write something about my experience of the program so as to provide some personal insight to anyone else who is considering this program.
The main reason why I chose Maximo Nivel was that they specialize in South American teaching job placements. I have friends and a distant relative living in Argentina and this certification will allow me to relocate there by ticking the box for the work visa. The Maximo Nivel admin has already provided me with the contacts for lots of local schools, so now I’m just waiting until this is all over (covid) and then I’ll be heading off. Hopefully by this summer.
The course is very easy to work through and very user-friendly. Plus, you get to have up to 10 hours of face time with an online trainer and this was really useful because I had a ton of questions about the course and the teaching placement service.
Another thing about the course which I liked was that there wasn’t one massive test at the end. They test your knowledge after each module and this was a great litmus to see how well I was progressing during the course. The feedback I received on my assignments was to the point and very helpful.
I recommend Maximo Nivel because of the helpful school staff and because the certification leads to lots of job possibilities.
