It wasn’t what I expected. I saw the World Tesol Academy course offer on Facebook and decided to give it a go, based on the cheap price and the positive reviews I read on trustpilot.com. In the adverts they show someone who is supposed to have taken one of their courses, proudly showing off her World Tesol Academy certificate. I want to make it clear to anyone thinking about going for the course that this won’t be the certificate you receive. The one I received didn’t look half as good and was without the seal that the one shown in the Facebook ads has. It’s a classic bait and switch scam. The course is worth the $34 World Tesol Academy charges. The course content is poor, there were errors in the information presented, there is never anyone around when you have a question or need help. The course hardly taught me anything at all and I would feel unprepared for a job interview. Bearing all this in mind, I would recommend giving World Tesol Academy a wide miss. I won’t be recommending them to anyone.
