There were some technical issues paying for the course and TEFL Org UK was excellent with their online support. Finally managed to make payment and I was all good to go. Alejandra was the support person who helped me so if you reading this… thank you again, Alejandra!
I hadn’t taken any courses online before and possibly won’t in the future either so the 120-hour TEFL Org UK online certification course was a unique experience for me. It was a simple process of completing sections as you go and for me, the most difficult of these was the English grammar teachings. I feel a bit embarrassed but before the course, I hadn’t a clue about the difference between a noun and a verb so I did struggle quite a bit with understanding all the new grammar rules. I’m fairly confident now that I remember most of what was covered but when I start teaching I’ll make sure to have a grammar book on me at all times.
I can’t comment on their job search support because I’m in my 2nd year of college and won’t be looking to teach English abroad for a while yet. But when I do I’ll contact their friendly team again and look forward to being on my way. I would love to one day teach English in Brazil!
