I did my TEFL/TESOL certification with CIEE TEFL in September 2025. It’s a very comprehensive course, and consists of a logical series of gradient steps (modules, tests, lesson plans, and written tasks). I found the information was consistently straightforward and understandable. The course has obviously been designed by experienced teachers who know their subject in and out, as it tells you exactly what you need to know and how to apply it in real-life teaching situations. I also appreciated the clear, concise content of the course, which made the previously intimidating subject of grammar seem quite simple to understand and teach to others. I now feel confident to successfully begin teaching English to speakers of other languages and nations. I’ll begin teaching online and progress to in-person classes once I’ve a few months’ experience under my belt.
