Oxford Seminars review, submitted by Patricia.
I took the TESOL course (online) in January 2018. It took four weeks to complete and I think it only took around a month after that before I received the certification. I just remember it not taking that long to receive the certificate. Since then I have taught in Thailand and Laos. I thoroughly enjoyed the whole teaching English overseas experience. If I had to choose between the two destinations, I would choose Thailand. I loved teaching in Laos (Vientiane) but Thailand has a much better infrastructure in place for ex-pats. When I lived in Bangkok, I had literally everything I could ever need at my fingertips. There are also a lot more ex-pats living in Thailand and it wasn’t difficult to meet local Thais and other “farang”. Since March of last year, I’ve been back home and teaching English online. I don’t really mind teaching online. It can be exhausting and frustrating at times. Overall though the positives far outweigh the negatives. But… I do miss face-to-face, in-person teaching. I’m looking forward to traveling again too. The Oxford Seminars online program is a good choice for the TESOL training and I am only too happy to recommend the program to others.
