I’ve taken two courses through the Tefl Online Pro program.
Last summer I signed up for their fast-track course as a tefl taster, to see if it was something I wanted to change careers to. Based on the positive experience I had taking that course, I then signed up in January for their professional course, with the option of upgrading to the hybrid if I feel I need some teaching practice experience.
There was a bit of confusion with the signing-up process this time because I paid by credit card but wrote down my email incorrectly, so as a result I didn’t receive any confirmation of payment, or username/password to access the course. I panicked, called their US number, and within 30 minutes they reset my password for me, let me know my username, and showed me the link on their school website where I was then able to log in without difficulty. Prompt assistance!
The professional goes much deeper into tefl than the fast-track and having the support of an online tutor felt like excellent insurance in case I needed to urgently ask a question. Communication with this school is lightning speed quick. Except on Sundays, when it could be a bit Chick-fil-A patchy at times.
After i completed the course, which took me three weeks, they issued me another official letter of recommendation, and then (as was the case when I took the fast-track) my certificate arrived in under two weeks.
Had many interviews, and have many job offers, but might need to wait on that until this whole coronavirus pandemic dies down. In the meantime, I’m teaching English online to South Korean students. The money is great, but the time difference sucks.
I’ll contact them back in the summer to use their international job guidance team support services. It’s free, just as my online tutor support was too.
Overall, a superb school but just wish they were more available on Sundays.

During our official working week (Monday to Saturday) we ensure that all questions, be it emails or private messages, are answered within 24 hours. Typically though, we answer either immediately or within an hour or two at most.
We sincerely apologize if you felt frustrated regarding this service on a Sunday. We do have Online Tutors available on Sundays, myself included, but what with the huge popularity of our courses and the lower number of available Online Tutors on this day of rest, it’s true that on Sundays it can take longer in terms of response times.
