There are so many TEFL companies offering the TEFL online but something drew me to the University of Toronto TEFL program. It is more expensive than most other online courses but you definitely get your money’s worth. After the course, I was connected with their partner site Teach Away and they were fantastic with helping me find a teaching program overseas. The University of Toronto TEFL program was definitely the right choice. To anyone reading this and wondering if to travel abroad to teach or not, you should definitely go for it. I’m in South Korea where it can be hard work, but the payoff is worth it. Back home I saw most of my salary going on rent and bills, but over here I’m actually able to save and still have enough to splurge at weekends. A totally recommended experience!
