Positives and negatives of the TEFL Educator/TEFL Boot Camp certification course online.
Positives.
Ted is a really helpful academic advisor and goes out of his way to promptly answer your questions, provide course support, etc.
The enrollment process was smooth sailing. No issues with the payment procedure.
I really enjoyed the creating lesson plans aspect of this course. The course doesn’t come with teaching practice tuition, but through the lesson planning and feedback on where I was going right/wrong in my lesson planning, I quickly progressed in this area of my EFL knowledge.
Negatives.
I had to write this because the staff was so nice, but the course definitely needs improvement. I found it pretty laborious to complete. It felt at times like reading Tolstoy’s War and Peace.
I had some help with where to search for job listings, but I was expecting more attention to support in this area.

TEFL Educator offers a free teaching practicum with any course. We are not a travel agency like many TEFL programs. We want to be sure that when you finish our program, you know how to teach. So… we are not always the easiest of the TEFL programs, but we do everything we can to help you succeed.
If you are expecting support from them, DON’T. Wrote SEVERAL emails to the support team, the administrative team even the teacher assigned to my file. NOT ONE SINGLE REPLY. I registered for the 150 hours online teaching and it is NOW USELESS because I cannot get started, because nobody replies. I am filing a consumer complaint to get my money back. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
