Review of the Uni-Prep 120-hour TESOL certification course.

I’m very happy I chose to take my TESOL course with Uni-Prep. They give you a whole year to complete it and even then it’s possible to get a (free) extension. So I wasn’t under any time pressures and therefore there was no stress. It was a very intense course and covered everything you need to learn to be able to teach English. I was very satisfied that I was able to take this course because as a non-native speaker of English, I wasn’t completely sure if I would be accepted. It was no issue and having completed the course I’m now searching the internet for teaching jobs. I would reckon you could complete the course from start to finish in two weeks if you were working on it every day, but I was working at the time and only managed it in seven weeks. I do want to add that I thought the previous Uni-Prep review on here was a bit harsh and definitely wasn’t representative of my experience so I did want to leave this review to give a different perspective. On a final note… Uni-Prep seems to have chosen not to go down the route that other Online TEFL courses have of offering humongous course discounts and this enforced their school reputation for me. Overall: recommended.
