Let’s TEFL review, written by M P.
This 120-hour TEFL course is a good course that will help you start off on your TEFL journey. I didn’t have a clue what I wanted to do after university, so I decided a safe bet would be to take a TEFL course and do a bit of traveling for a year or so. For this reason, I didn’t want to fork out $1,000+ for a more traditional on-site TEFL course because it wouldn’t have been worth the extra expense and time. I was coming to the end of a work contract when I began this course but I was still able to finish it within just over 3 weeks by logging in for a couple of hours each evening. So for me, it was very conveniently set up. The only thing missing really was some sort of multimedia learning tools, such as video tutorials. but this wasn’t a deal breaker by any means. After finishing, I messaged Let’s TEFL to ask about teaching in South America and they sent me a list of countries with visa information, so this was a great starter for me. I don’t know why but I’ve always fancied Colombia so I contacted Let’s TEFL again and they sent me a list of language schools in Bogota, to which I sent my Resume and received a couple of replies back. I interviewed through Skype with one school and… long story short… I fly out there next week to begin teaching for a year. I’m looking forward to being in South America for the first time and beginning my teaching English adventure.
