I am so pleased I got my TEFL/TESOL certificate from TOP. From start to finish, the course was engaging, logically structured, and full of high-quality materials. The approach to practical teaching was very much hands-on in that it presents many varied teaching scenarios. I could immediately see myself using them in a real classroom. The certificate was included in the price, as were additional modules on teaching English online, teaching business English, and teaching young and very young learners. Before taking the course I knew very little about teaching and my knowledge of grammar was admittedly poor. This course changed all that – I don’t consider myself an expert now but far better than when I started. TOP also has an incredible in-house job guidance service if you’re wanting professional help in the job-search process. The certificate doesn’t mention “online” so will pass as an onsite certificate if you ever need this option. One minor criticism: I urgently needed a question answered on a Sunday but had to wait until Monday for the response. Seems Sunday is TOP’s day off? Personally would have liked the same support on every day in the week. Not a big issue though. I highly recommend.
