I was encouraged and supported from the point of course purchase to post-course job interviews. I enrolled with Bridge largely because I felt the combination of online study and a steadfast 4 week schedule would be best for getting the most out of my TEFL study. It wasn’t a cheap course and I was fine with that. I wasn’t going to scrimp on the course fee because I’ve read what happens when you do. All course and tutor instructions were clear, the materials were interesting, and the assignments useful. Hand on heart I can honestly say it fully prepared me for teaching. The trade off of course with a set schedule program is that you don’t have a lot of flexibility. For me though I needed the push that got me to complete assignments and modules within a required amount of time. My tutor was fantastic and always quick to reply and offer helpful pointers/suggestions. Everyone can successfully complete a TEFL course online but you must ensure that it will sufficiently prepare you for the next step of live teaching. This course did exactly that.
