Here is a recent photo of James Anthony Dwyer:

James Anthony Dwyer is a Brit, living abroad in the Philippines. He runs two scam TEFL course programs: ITT International TEFL and TESOL Ltd. and World TEFL Institute.

The reason why we are writing this International TEFL & TESOL Scam blog post:

James is trying to disassociate the ITT brand acronym with his ITT International TEFL and TESOL Ltd. website.

He probably thinks that if he hides ITT on his website, people won’t think it is the scam ITT website.

Instead, James hopes, you will think that it is a different International TEFL & TESOL website.

He is giving it a go, bless him 🙂

This week, he has rebranded his website so that it looks different and so that there is no mention of ITT:

We feel that James should spend more time with his family, instead of spending vast chunks of his time creating online aliases (on Reddit, for example) which he uses to promote his courses and attack his business competitors.

We can confirm that neither of his TEFL courses are independently accredited.

The staff profiles on his websites are all fake.

He spends so much of his time flooding the internet with fake reviews.

He also threatens more reputable TEFL programs with dark-web attacks.

TEFL Online Pro kindly shared this business email thread in which James Anthony Dwyer makes some pretty serious threats:

A business email from ITT International TEFL and TESOL Ltd to TEFL Online Pro, in which James Anthony Dwyer threatens TEFL Online Pro with dark-web attacks.

TEFL Online Pro have filed a police complaint and the police are currently investigating James Anthony Dwyer.

So, what’s the conclusion?

The International TEFL & TESOL Scam conclusion is don’t do any business with James Anthony Dwyer.

  1. How is it possible that this James guy gets away with all of this? I read the other articles about his businesses and it is clear that it is a collection of scam websites all linked together. And his comments are disgusting. I tip my hat to you TTR for publishing this warning and I hope as many people as possible read it so they don’t fall for his scams.
