I know that MyTEFL gets a lot of bad press, but I had a really good experience with them. I chose them before I’d read any reviews and I’m not sure whether I would have chosen them if I had conducted some further due diligence. My take from the program is that you can’t really expect too much when you are only paying a couple of hundred bucks. I, though, was completely satisfied with the whole MyTEFL package. Payment for the course was without issues and my time on the course went smoothly. I learned a lot and that was why I wanted to take a TEFL course in the first place. They also issued my course certificate promptly and if I needed help finding a job placement then the help was there to be had. My advice though is to look for work by yourself because it’s so easy to find work when you are TEFL qualified and I don’t think that job placements offer the best deals at the end of the day.
I haven’t begun teaching yet but I already have 2 job interviews arranged for next week. I’m applying for teaching online jobs. I have applied to 10 online schools so far and hope to get started in a teaching job well before the end of this month.
MyTEFL was worth it and I want to give them the maximum 5 stars. Thanks.
