I wanted to graduate from TEFL by doing one of the in-person courses overseas but because of the lockdown, I chose to take it online. The TEFL Training College certification TEFL seemed like a safe bet and so I enrolled and began my studies online. Looking back, I’m definitely glad that I chose the online option as it is a significant saving on traveling to attend the course in another country, and as far as I can see the distance learning certification is as well accepted as the in-person one. The only real negative for me of taking this certification online was that towards the end I really had to focus on applying myself to the course content and trying not to be distracted by other things popping up on my screen. If you have the self-control and determination I (again from my own personal experience) recommend the online over in-person TEFL option to save money and receive the same certificate at the end.
