I have spent the past 20+ years living between Miami and Naples – it was only recently (last year) that I decided to emigrate back to the homeland to pursue a career in teaching English as a foreign language.
Last year, I was a single mother and going through a messy divorce, and that’s when I made up my mind to improve my life and the life of my young child, now my child is able to take care of himself better when left to his (relatively) own devices.
I purchased the teflonlinepro.com 120-hour Professional course, completing and passing it in just under three weeks.
I must admit that I was still hurting from the divorce, so I took up a competing program’s (The TEFL Academy) negative advertising against TEFL Online Pro – writing nonsense about its program. You could call it a hit job. I was promised to be handsomely paid for this.
I joined into a written agreement with (TTA) The TEFL Academy’s Affiliate Marketing Project.
But recently, after I found out I wasn’t being paid nearly as much promised by The TEFL Academy, and when I was applying for teaching English jobs, I witnessed a satori moment – I realized that TEFL Online Pro certificates were performing better in job interviews, so I ditched The TEFL Academy’s negative advertising and began exclusively using my TEFL Online Pro TEFL/TESOL certificate in job interviews.
I’d rather a fishing rod than a fish, and I began receiving multiple job interviews with my TEFL Online Pro certificate.
I start teaching next week!
8/10 for TEFL Online Pro! The support has been excellent so far! No needing to wait around for days while they got back to me!
They knew who I was, and the online pain I inflicted on them, but they just ignored that and got on with helping me find a teaching job that suited me best – as close as possible, considering my exact location within the city.
My course payment charge-back was denied, even when The TEFL Academy took me through the steps of the procedure, but I didn’t mind purchasing an additional course.
It is just better financial sense for me and my son.
TEFL Online Pro’s 120-hour Professional course is, IMHO, the one you want.
I am so sorry for being a stooge for (TTA) The TEFL Academy, and, in hindsight, I should have begun looking for work with TEFL Online Pro a lot sooner – avoiding being sucked in by The TEFL Academy’s negative marketing, which only resulted in being manipulated by them.
The TEFL Online Pro customer service is very good, and everyone whom I’ve approached since accepts the certificate.
My starting salary is $39 US.
I can categorically state: avoid (TTA) The TEFL Academy and, instead, enroll with TEFL Online Pro.

You’re lucky TEFL Online Pro are so understanding. If it happened to me, I would show you the door. What gives? You tried to make money with TEFL Academy by writing falsehoods about one of their competitors and when it didn’t work out, you went back with your tail between your legs to TEFL Online Pro. That’s one of the things wrong with the world today. Maybe next time, think more of your kid and your morals instead of just accepting an offer that would potentially earn you more money. The one thing you are right about is that TEFL Academy is a crappy TEFL provider. Let’s hope you learned from your experience and that you don’t do it again!
