My review of Asian College of Teachers is more positive than negative. Despite its name, it isn’t a company exclusively offering TEFL certification only within Asia. I’m a Brit, living in Brighton, and I was able to complete the course without any fuss.
My biggest like about the course is that it trains you to create effective lesson plans that are both fun and tutorial. I can’t emphasize enough the importance of being grounded with a concise lesson plan before you teach a class.
If I had tried teaching online without taking the TEFL, I would have been completely lost.
I’m going to give the program four stars because, as with the reviewer before, I didn’t need to use their job placement service so I can’t comment on that.
