Trusted TEFL Reviews wishes all of our readers a New Year filled with personal and professional accomplishments.
Without you, we wouldn’t exist. Therefore, we want to sincerely thank all of you who continue to support us in our development as the leading independent, not-for-profit Online TEFL/TESOL certification course program review website.
I also want to take this opportunity to recap the most notable Trusted TEFL Reviews events of 2024 as we soon change into the new 2025 calendar year.
TEFL Online Pro (https://trustedteflreviews.com/category/tefl-online-pro-teachers-choice-award-winner-2024/) was the winner of the Teachers’ Choice Award this year – winning for the sixth year in a row.
OISE University of Toronto TEFL (https://trustedteflreviews.com/category/oise-university-of-toronto-tefl/) came in as a close second.
The 5 Best Online TEFL/TESOL Certification Courses list has remained unchanged in 2024, and remains unchanged going into 2025.
The 5 Best Online TEFL/TESOL certification course programs in 2025 are:

The winner of the Teachers’ Choice Award is granted the ability to promote any discounts or offers that they might be running throughout the year – until the following Teachers’ Choice Award winner is announced in 2025 – and this is why you can occasionally see a TEFL Online Pro Special Discount being promoted (for free) on Trusted TEFL Reviews.
The 4 Worst Online TEFL/TESOL certification course programs leading into 2025 are:
- ESLinsider – https://www.eslinsider.com/ | https://trustedteflreviews.com/category/eslinsider-tefl/ The main reason is it’s owner, Ian Patrick Leahy, who is banned from most Asian counties for recommending that students apply for teaching jobs with fake college degrees. He is also notorious for spreading false information about reputable companies so that his posts appear high up in search engines.
- The TEFL Academy – https://www.theteflacademy.com/ | https://trustedteflreviews.com/category/the-tefl-academy/ The main reason is, simply, the proliferation of fake reviews and threatening reviews websites with legal action to take down negative reviews. Oh, and The TEFL Academy isn’t even accredited.
- MyTEFL – https://mytefl.com/ | https://trustedteflreviews.com/category/mytefl-blacklisted-warning/ The guy behind MyTEFL has been hustling for years – ripping off students with his fake accreditation claims and predatory job placement services.
- ITTT International TEFL and TESOL Training – https://www.teflonline.net/ | https://trustedteflreviews.com/category/ittt/ ITTT operates under many different websites, in order to muddy the waters when they inevitably rip people, like you, off.

I will be spending New Year’s Eve with my husband and the little new (second) addition to our family, together with family and friends.
We will be back on January 1, 2025.
Let’s hope that 2025 brings peace and happiness.
