tefl online pro review, submitted by Sadie.
I won’t pretend that it was an absolute nightmare trying to choose an online TEFL course from what seemed like a zillion options on offer out there. But what eventually made me choose TEFL Online Pro was that they appeared to be the most legit, education-focused school that hadn’t felt the need to display a beach on their homepage. TEFL schools: we are not so naive that we fall for that type of marketing, If I want to go on holiday to Cuba, then I’ll expect the glistening water, full frontal money shot on your school homepage. If I want to invest money into a quality education then I want to see pictures of people teaching.
The signup process was really easy. After a few initial questions back and forth with the TEFL Online Pro admin team I enrolled and gained immediate access to my first module. The course consists of 12 modules with 2 additional units which cover teaching business English and children/teenagers. I had taken a few online courses before and this one was by far the most in-depth and covered TEFL 101.
After each module to complete a 10-question quiz and I found this form of comprehension a lot more inspiring than other courses I had taken. There was an online tutor at hand practically any time of the night or day so that was a real bonus for me because I did have some module questions.
This ain’t no TEFL mill. If you want to take a different course and complete it in the afternoon then TEFL Online Pro definitely isn’t for you. The TEFL Online Pro Hybrid course really felt like an equivalent to an onsite course and I learned so much in those 12 modules and 2 units.
Because I’d chosen their Hybrid course, I also got to teach 20 hours of classroom practice. If I’d chosen an onsite course the price tag would have been in excess of $2,000+. The complete Hybrid (140-hour) course with their current 30% course discount set me back at just $384.
As other reviewers have mentioned, TEFL Online Pro’s post-course support is legendary, and not only am I settled in Chiang Mai now, but I know the support is there for me when I get itchy feet and feel the drive to move on to somewhere else.
trustedteflreviews only allow a max of 5 stars, but for TEFL Online Pro, I’d award them a sound, solid 100. The course I took btw: https://teflonlinepro.com/140-hour-hybrid/
A lot of people probably won’t need the 20 practice hours and will just go for the 120-hour Professional course, but I thought the extra investment was well worth it!

Thank you Sadie! What a lovely review! Chiang Mai is an awesome city and if you like coffee and yoga then you will be in your element there. Try to check out Pai when you are up there – a 3-hour bus ride up into the mountains. It could just be the chillest destination in the whole of Thailand. Please remember that we are here for you when you need any help or advice, so don’t be a stranger. Thank you so much again for your lovely review!
