i-to-i TEFL review, submitted by anonymous.
I did this tefl online i-to-i tesol course in the summer of 2017.
It honestly seemed that everything was set up for you not to fail. There was a strong whiff of tefl mill covered all over it. Tasks were structured in a way to encourage a certain answer and I didn’t learn a great deal on it. Would have been better to buy a book about teaching English because the level of tuition was so basic.
Something I noticed about all these online tefl courses is they run limited time discounts which always run and I-TO-I were no different in this respect. I rushed to enroll to take advantage of the limited time discount but 6 months later the exact same discount was still running. Which made me even more skeptical about this program.
The point I want to make is I-TO-I provide certification which does the job in getting you certified to teach English in foreign countries but don’t expect a challenging course where you will learn a whole much. It has been set up in such a way that you can’t possibly fail and this is what their 120 hour course seems to be designed for. If you just need a tefl certificate for the sake of having one then choose I-TO-I. If you need something a bit more intense then my advise is to choose another school.
