TEFL Certification UK i-to-i TEFL review, submitted by Shania.
TEFL Certification UK review. It was recommended on a travel website by a blogger that had taken the course and was teaching English online and traveling around Asia. The first impressions were good as I had access to the course materials immediately so I could get on with it without waiting until someone activated my account. You can log in and out of the course as often as you want, which means I could pause and continue as many times as needed. It’s a modular course with three written assignments that need to be submitted before you can proceed to the end. I opted for the digital certificate but chose not to pay for the job support. I enjoyed the style of the course but the content is thin on the ground and the marking on my assignments seemed cookie cut versions. The price of the course was good though and I did find it easy to get work. I wouldn’t describe the experience as positive as the blogger did but it got the job done in the end. I would rate it a slightly above-average online learning experience. I think that’s a fair assessment. Just be aware that this is a UK company and the course is delivered in the queen’s English so to speak. It wasn’t that much of a hindrance but there were a few times when I found myself spending unnecessary time working out the meaning of a grammar term specific to the UK.
