I completed the TEFL course early last year and had a wonderful experience. I was a 150-HourTEFL student which meant I had to commit to at least 10 study hours in the week. It worked for me because if left to my own devices I’ll just put stuff off. I was pursuing a Bachelor’s in Education in the UK at the time and the TEFL course was a perfect addition.
I thought the one-on-one coaching sessions were intrinsically helpful in my quest to complete the course with a high grade, and I appreciated the helpfulness provided by this service.
We Brits now have additional obstacles and barriers if we want to work in Europe. CIEE helped me understand better the visa processes for countries I was interested in working in. I didn’t realise each EU member state has its own rules. I just assumed it would be uniform.
My TEFL journey has brought me to Seville, Spain. It’s a fabulous city and so close to so many amazing sites and points of natural interest. The sea is closeish, possible to reach by train in a few hours.
I love my Spanish students.
I teach mainly for one language school and I’m now getting more private students. No more cold winters is reason alone to come to Seville.
