It’s said that if it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck, and looks like a duck, then it probably is a duck. This same saying can be applied to World TESOL Academy. It’s a clear scam. Signed up. Got course access. First module done. “Hey, want to earn and travel being a World TESOL Academy affiliate?!”. I was like, what the hell? I had to complete a questionnaire about why I didn’t want to be one of their affiliates before access to module 2. And, again, after module 3, 4, 5, and so on, until the end of the course. Paid for the cert. Thought that was it and I’d never need to be in contact with this BS company ever again. But then I was getting offers to write positive reviews for them, record a video testimonial, and explained what I would receive in return. The kicker? The certificate isn’t recognized! Waste of time and unnecessary stress.
