Taking the TEFL certification online was the best decision I have made in pursuing a career as a digital nomad. I have had so many opportunities come my way since I began my journey with TEFL Online Pro. I chose to take the certification with this company because of all the positive reviews and because they have won awards. When I first started teaching, when I was interviewing for jobs, the awards status of the school helped contribute to the amount of job offers that I received. Starting, I began teaching for a couple of online schools and since then I have also begun acquiring my students. I now teach half of my hours to private students and the other half to students at the two online schools I teach for. It would be possible for me to exclusively teach privately but I like the security of having both options on the table. I can live and teach online literally anywhere in the world. I feel very glad to have chosen this career path and very glad that I chose TEFL Online Pro for the certification.

Looks like I’m going the exact same route as you Anna. Not sure which of their courses you took but I took the 120-hour Professional (https://teflonlinepro.com/120-hour-professional/). I see some schools offering TEFL courses with way more hours but every interview I took specifically asked if I had a TEFL/TESOL certificate with 120 hours. I’m also teaching a mixture of in-person and online courses and doing the digital nomad route. 10/10 for the support that tefl online pro gave me after the course in getting set up with my teaching jobs and the wealth of knowledge and tips provided.
