This is my TEFL Online Pro review. I am a June 2023 graduate of their 120-hour Professional course (TEFL/TESOL).
The thing that really stood out for me when taking this course was the amount of support available and the speed at which the support was given. Whenever I had a question, I would private message my tutor and he would answer within a few hours. I never had to wait more than 12 hours for a response. I have ADHD and I suffer from anxiety because of it so I was very hesitant to commit to an online program. One of the reasons why I chose this program was because the online tutor support is included with the course at no extra charge. Chris (my tutor) was an absolute star when I began freaking out a little after starting the course and suddenly feeling overwhelmed at the thought of completing all of the modules and the two lesson plans. His response was of understanding and empathy and he wrote that I have a lot of time and that he is here for me whenever I need any help or encouragement. It was exactly what I needed to hear and motivated me to continue. 5 stars for the course and for the support.
Another area of anxiety for me was finding a job after the course because I didn’t complete my degree. I knew that there were places where I could teach without a degree, but I wasn’t so sure if this information was still valid or not. Paul Murphy helped me with this and he recommended I look at teaching in Europe or in Central or South America. We arranged for a phone call in which Paul spent an hour with me going over all of the options. In the end, I decided I wanted to teach in Europe because I have some distant relatives living in Austria. Because of the good timing and because of Paul’s help, I was able to get a summer teaching job in Tyrol. This is where I am writing my TEFL Online Pro review. From the end of September, I will be teaching full-time for a prominent language school in Vienna. 5 stars for the job support.
I’m so happy I chose this program not only because of the awesome support but also because the program is fully accredited and the certificate is recognized internationally. The price of the course was also within my budget range and turned out to be incredibly good value for money. 5 stars for everything. Nothing was negative in my experience.
