OISE University of Toronto TEFL review, submitted by Claire.
Simply a fantastic course! I’m a Toronto local and I made the decision to take the international TEFL through OISE TEFL/Teach Away mainly due to this reason. If things went south (which they never did), then I’d have a physical address to visit to iron out any kinks. Despite advertising itself as an OISE TEFL course, the course is actually run by Teach Away. This doesn’t matter though because the course certificate has the OISE logo on it, and I doubt any employer would know the difference anyway. Not a cheap course, but I was lucky that I had a birthday coming up and this was my birthday present from my parents. If you have the money, this surely must be one of the best TEFL courses to take considering the links the program has with OISE University of Toronto. Teach Away, the sister company, was also on the ball when directing me to the best websites to look for online teaching work. I came out the other end very very happy that I had the opportunity to take the TEFL with this company.
