I can see looking at other reviews here that I’m not the only person who isn’t that satisfied with the TTA TEFL online course. I chose the program because of its reviews on Trust Pilot. I’m now left wondering whether those reviews are real or not. Yes, the course is great. I didn’t have any issues with the course. My issues were:
- When I needed help or when I had a question, I would contact TTA TEFL and then I was assigned a waiting ticket. When someone finally got back to me, I’d already found the answer somewhere else or the reply wasn’t sufficient enough. Just a generic copy-and-paste answer.
- I had planned on teaching English on the island of Malta, this summer. It, therefore, came as quite a shock to learn that the TTA TEFL certificate isn’t recognized in Malta. This leaves me wondering whether the certification is really “internationally recognized” as they claim.
- Don’t hold your breath if wanting any support after completing the course. They only respond when you are a student on the course.
It’s such a shame really because TTA TEFL has a really good course that I thoroughly enjoyed taking.
