I completed the 120-hour course in teaching English as a foreign language. I chose this particular program because I’m a Toronto local and it just worked out easier for me to take the OISE TEFL Course. It was 100% online, but I thought it would be useful having the brick/mortar contact option just in case I needed to contact someone in person. In the end, I never did need to take up this option, but it was comforting to know that it was there if required. It was a really insightful course and was manageable to do as I had a lot of time to complete the course. Overall I would definitely recommend OISE for the TEFL qualification if you are an independent learner. The only reason why I would give it 4/5 stars is that sometimes the tutors were quite slow at replying – other than that all was great!
