This TEFL program is absolutely recommended if you want to teach in Thailand. I was meaning to take a TEFL course but kept putting off enrolling because I couldn’t really tell which companies offering the course in Thailand were legit. Fortunately, I discovered this TEFL reviews website and after reading the reviews I went ahead and placed a deposit on the Vantage combined TEFL course. The choice to take a combined course was largely influenced by the pandemic restrictions of movement but was also financially driven. I probably could have afforded the time off to take a 4-week TEFL course on-site but I didn’t really have that kind of cash available at the time. Despite having to teach my practice classes online I still got a lot out of the course and the support from Vantage was definitely there when needed. It’s not difficult to find a teaching job in Thailand if you have a TEFL and a bachelor’s degree. What is difficult in Thailand is finding a TEFL program that is thorough and trains you properly. I definitely felt fit to teach English after taking this program. Have been living and teaching in Bangkok since March last year. So far the certificate has worked for me.
