i-to-i TEFL review, submitted by Peter.
I recently completed a Level 5 TEFL course with i-to-i TEFL and thought that the course was great. It was divided into digestible portions (modules) and there were mini tests during the course rather than one final test at the end. So in terms of the study materials I was completely satisfied. The customer support wasn’t so good. I was designated a tutor to help with me via the online channel but heard nothing from them throughout the course. In fact I didn’t get any replies to any emails I sent the school at all, other than the ones I got when I was about ready to enroll in the course and pay. Also no help with job hunting was provided, although it is claimed that the support is part of the course on the school’s website. So this is the reason for only three stars from me for this review. In hindsight I should have chosen a school offering a more personalized experience. I do have the TEFL certificate now, so that is an achievement I am proud of. I just don’t have so much of a clue as to where to look for jobs and which jobs will be a right fit for me. SO overall left feeling a bit lost and clueless after this course with i-to-i TEFL.
