TEFL Online Pro
My decision to take the TESOL certification with teflonlinepro.com was based on the positive reviews I read on trustedteflreviews.com and the positive reviews I read on the TEFL Online Pro Facebook page. Finding a fully accredited course was top of my list, and that box was ticked with this company. The course is easy to follow with my personal tutor guiding me along, and the job-searching support I have received since has been excellent. There is always someone to speak to whenever I have a question, even months after graduating from the course.

There are so many different types of teaching courses on the internet and to add to the confusion there are some offering Level 5, some offering TEFL, some offering TESL, some offering CELTA, some offering TESOL, etc. I spent days scanning the different website articles and blogs to try and find out which type of course would be the best investment for the purpose of teaching English online and possibly overseas.
CELTA appears to be the gold standard course. But as I don’t have four weeks that I can devote to a classroom course overseas, I began searching for a CELTA equivalent certification course.
teflonlinepro.com kept popping up on my radar as a recommended CELTA equivalent TEFL/TESOL course provider.
I really liked that they have so many four and five star customer reviews.
In the end I committed to the program’s 120-hour Professional course and signed up.
A few minutes after paying I had gotten my password and username login codes, which I then used to access the first module.
I must admit that I wasn’t too impressed with the first module, but I later realized that it is just a warmer module because from then on the subsequent modules were jam-packed full of information.
My main take away from the course has been the excellent use of activities and games to teach difficult grammar themes. If you do take this course, copy the games and activities! You will need/use them when you start teaching. I’m constantly using them in my classes and I haven’t had any of them fall flat with my students.
Like the rest of the ESL teaching world, I started out teaching English to students online. I did this for seven months until I read that some countries were starting to open their borders again to ESL teachers. I’ve since moved to Germany (Berlin) and I’m currently in my third week of teaching for an international ESL school. I got the contact for the school through Paul Murphy. Paul was my finding jobs guy at teflonlinepro.com and I have only great things to say about the help he provided me with.
Despite the first module jitters ( 🙂 ) I found the 120-hour course to be exactly as was advertised on the teflonlinepro.com school website. I wasn’t expecting that much regarding help after completing the course, but my prejudices were proven wrong. The support was consistently excellent throughout the course and beyond.
I’m sure there are other TESOL programs offering similar programs, but the one provided by teflonlinepro.com has proven to do what it says it does on the tin and I’m absolutely a satisfied customer. I recommend the program!
