Enjoyed the course! This course gives a comprehensive view of the main resources that you can use to teach English to non-native English speakers. I am hoping to teach English to foreign immigrants, so this course checked all of the boxes for me. I must admit though that the course was REALLY tough going I learned an incredible amount of new knowledge and the videos, readings, and lessons are really well laid out. I also got the opportunity to design lesson plans and feedback was given on each of them so by the end of the course I was able to say with confidence that I knew how to plan a lesson effectively. I liked that I was able to work at my own pace as opposed to having to work day-to-day. When I think of classes, I think of just assignments being posted and having to follow their schedule. But I liked that I was able to work on my own time and pace. That was very appealing to me. Also, the price was affordable compared to most websites and schools offering tuition on-site. UoT TEFL gets a thumbs up from me.
